Convenient & Educational Dental Care
At Big Bay Point Dentistry, we know that, for many children, trips to the dentist can be intimidating. For parents, the logistical challenges of scheduling appointments around school and work can make dental visits even more stressful.
In an effort to help your child feel comfortable attending dental appointments, we work hard to make our office a calm, friendly, and inviting environment. Our team will work at your child's pace and take breaks if they become overwhelmed. We will also explain each step of the process in an age-appropriate way, and end the appointment by discussing proper brushing and flossing techniques.
To help make children's dental care more convenient for parents, we offer multiple appointment bookings for families and are open late Monday through Thursday to accommodate your busy schedule. If that doesn't work, we also offer appointments on Saturdays.
Schedule an appointment today to equip your child with the tools they need to keep their teeth healthy and strong throughout their life.
Your Child's First Visit
Babies should get their teeth checked by a dentist within six months of being born or, at the very least, by their first birthday. When a baby's primary teeth start to erupt, it's important to catch any issues before they become major worries down the line.
Dental Services for Kids
At Big Bay Point Dentistry, our services can be tailored to meet your child's oral health needs and keep their smile healthy.
Preventive Dental Hygiene
Preventive dental hygiene plays a crucial role in maintaining the oral health of children. Ensuring that your child's teeth are thoroughly brushed and flossed each day and scheduling twice-yearly visits to the dentist for check-ups can help to prevent the onset of dental issues such as cavities, gum diseases and tooth decay.
Instilling good oral hygiene habits from an early age helps to set the stage for a lifetime of optimal oral health.
Restorative Dental Services
If your child does develop a dental issue, prompt restorative care is essential to get them back on track with their oral health. These services include procedures like fillings and crowns, which aim to repair damaged teeth and prevent further decay or infection.
By addressing dental issues at an early age, restorative dental services ensure that kids can eat, speak, and smile comfortably, promoting their confidence and quality of life.
